Meet Dr. Sabrina Power

The Natural Approach to health care attracted me in 1986. After working for a Chiropractor as a Chiropractic Assistant, I was introduced to a paradigm of health that I did not know was available. My son had two surgeries to have tubes placed in his ears for recurring ear infections. It was chiropractic care that helped him avoid going through this procedure again. As an assistant, I saw first-hand people responding to care, getting well, and more importantly staying well. They were no longer on the medications that were so frequently prescribed prior to care. This natural approach fascinated me.

One morning while getting ready to go to work, I thought to myself “I should follow my passion and go to chiropractic school”. In a few short weeks I began my educational experience at Arkansas State University in Beebe, Arkansas. This decision also influenced my sister, Dr. Mary Power Chandler to pursue a career in Chiropractic as well.

After one year of pre-requisites at Arkansas State University-Beebe. I transferred to an accelerated science program for pre-med and pre-chiropractic students at Northlake Community College in Irving, Texas. In the fall of 1993, my graduate school began at Parker University.

From the beginning, I knew that I was called to be a Chiropractor. School was challenging in a good way, but with each semester I was getting closer to my big goal! In December of 1995, I graduated with honors. This was a major accomplishment for me, and I knew I made my family proud.

My career began in Beebe, Arkansas where I served the central Arkansas area for 28 years. In 2023, I had the opportunity to return to my hometown of Batesville and join Power Chiropractic Clinic.

When I am not in the office, you will find me at a rodeo competing in barrel racing, on a trail ride, hiking to a waterfall or canoeing the Buffalo.

Mission

My mission as a chiropractor is to help sick people get well and stay well.
We as a nation have as much or more available to us than any other country, yet we are not well. We have, over time, developed poor eating habits, lack of exercise, stress to the max, dependence on drugs….and wonder why we are not well! We must take personal responsibility for the health of our family and ourselves. Chiropractic will remove any nerve interference that may hinder that healing process. You will then be able to express yourself to your fullest potential.
